Reading but not learning

Reading does not mean you have learned anything...its sad to say that even though some read something that should be life changing or something that could change a life or help one understand the REALITY of a situation, but the only thing absorbed is one or two sentences that still feed the problem...I know that I am guilty of the same thing at times, and I wish that I would have the ears to hear, the eyes to see, and the heart to understand instead of being stuck in the rut...cow path of what I want to perceive, instead of allowing my heart to change and move towards what needs to be...
